I had such a good time the last 2 times I was here I had to go again. I went along trails 4 and 8. I stopped by the Lusk home. Salmon Lusk originally owned the land that is now Turkey Run. There is a head stone for a grave of one of his children who died in 1842. The house was closed so I didn't get to go inside but the house looks quite interesting.

This tree reminded me of the Loch Ness monster

When I saw this tree I thought it looked like a creature but it lost something in the photo. Posted by Picasa
This is the entrance to a coal mine. Can you imagine going to work in here. It is now inhabited by bats.

These little creatures were on the path and when they heard or felt something they would rock back and forth. Posted by Picasa
These fallen tree roots make interesting shapes
This is one photo that I think catches the depth of the forest that you usually lose with a photograph.
